    Parking:

    Private cars do not have access into the Old City. Taxi cabs may drive down inside the Old City but all private or rental cars must park outside the Old City walls and walk.

    Givati Parking Lot: Located next to the Dung Gate and across from the City of David. Payment per hour/ day.
    Mamila Parking Lot: An underground parking lot that leads to the shopping boulevard of Mamila and is located next to the Jaffa Gate. Payment per hour/ day.
    Mount of Olives Parking Lot: Located outside the Old City Walls and next to tourist sites on the Mount of Olives. Payment per hour/ day.
    Karta Parking Lot: Located next to Mamila and the JAffa Gate. Payment per hour/ day.
    Safra Square Parking Lot: Situated next to the Jerusalem Municipality and Jaffa Gate. Payment per hour/ day.


    Public Transportation:


    Buses:

    1 – Leaves the Central Bus Station of Jerusalem, travels through the ultra-religious neighborhood of Mea Shearim, onto the Damascus gate, and ends at the Dung Gate.
    2 – Leaves from Har Nof, travels through the neighborhoods of Givat Shaul and Romema through Bar Ilan Junction and onto the Damascus Gate before ending at the Dung Gate.
    3 –Leaves the Central Bus Station of Jerusalem, travels through Romema onto the Damascus Gate and ends at the Dung Gate.
    #38 aleph: A circular route that leaves from the Jewish Quarter of the Old City, travels through the City center, toward the Mount of Olives and back to the Old City through the Jaffa Gate.

    Light Rail:

    The light rail stops at Safra Square, across from the Damascus Gate.
