The Old City of Jerusalem has been the holiest of places for the world's three central religions for thousands of years. The people, prophets and prayers of Judaism, Christianity and Islam fill the streets and sites of the Old City, from ruins to relics, tunnels to temples. Thousands are drawn on pilgrimages to the Old City each year, staying at nearby hotels to take in the breathtaking skyline of the domes, towers and Jerusalem-stone walls.
Down within the centuries-old streets of the Old City are cobblestone alleyways, bustling marketplaces and newly-unearthed archways that bring to life the histories of the four quarters of the area. From the food to the shopping, the Old City streets are lively with traditions old and new. And for the thousands of tourists who visit the Old City each day, they discover a living, breathing Middle Eastern cauldron of differing cultures and peoples all living together and drawing upon generations of culture and history, religion and politics.
We launched our Old City Tours, and this website, out of a sense of respect and awe for this melting pot of the Middle East. With great love and appreciation, we invite you to explore the Old City to experience firsthand its transcendence of time - from the fragments of yesteryear and notations from centuries ago, to the stores and restaurants of today, many of which have been operating for generations. We are thrilled to offer an array of tours of the Old City and are also happy to share with you tips and recommendations for specific restaurants or places to visit while you're here.
Please do not hesitate to contact us with your questions. We look forward to meeting you and welcoming you to the Old City!
